Forging an exclusive, hybrid pathway to book publication for writers worldwide

Courtney Moore, author of middle-grade fantasy novel series—“Moonlight Walkers”, and artist for the company Trail of Painted Ponies started her creativity at an early age. Art, in general, is a gift that runs in the family. She was taught the basics—simple pencil drawings that, over the years, turned into a wide span of mediums including painting realistic statues, drawing with colour prisms, and with oil pastels.

The inspiration of wanting to write her own book came from the fantasy books she would read during high school. She wanted to create her own new world, with lovable, eager and adventurous characters that the reader would enjoy. Over the years, a rough draft was created until the motivation came to finally finish the manuscript and publish her first book into the world. A huge goal and a life-changer. Her family is her greatest motivation, and she is thankful for the support that is given to achieve any goal at hand.

She also gives big thanks to the #WritingCommunity via Twitter. Their on-going support and opinions for improvement opened paths for her to grow, gain knowledge and finally sign a deal with a publishing house—Notebook Publishing.

Courtney currently resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and wonderful family of pets.
