Forging an exclusive, hybrid pathway to book publication for writers worldwide

Aaisha Hamid is a corporate diversity professional at a top 10 BigLaw firm. Her current role enables her to be a part of a small team that works to support and create a diverse and inclusive environment for the firm’s lawyers and business services professionals across the Americas. She is in charge of completing the majority of market standard surveys for the Inclusion function, coordinating all internal diversity events for their 29 affinity groups, co-managing the function’s online presence and leading a national team of business services that assist with programming efforts.

Aaisha is also passionate about social equity and interfaith dialogue. She is a part of the Association of Law Firm Diversity Professionals and the UNA-USA KY Board. In the past, she has also been a part of the Women 4 Women Board and the UofL Women’s Alumni Council Steering Committee. Aaisha has been awarded with multiple leadership awards from her time at the University of Louisville and the UNA-USA KY Board including Ms. Ambassador, Outstanding Chair and the Young Professional Award.

She is the author of two grant funded books and has traveled locally, nationally and internationally to conduct workshops and speak about a wide array of topics ranging from identity politics and issues impacting women in the workforce to addressing culture and religion in contemporary society. Aaisha’s work has been featured in the Voice-Tribune magazine, the Courier Journal, the Weekly Urdu Post Canada, channel Y, Pakistan’s Safeer E Pakistan program on Geo TV and WLKY.
